Chess - Kaiju

PAWN - initial research

  • Smallest of the piece.
  • used to represent infantry (or more commonly armed peasants or pikemen.
  • is the weakest piece on the board.

Initial designs

The first step of my designing process was to draw six different ideas for the pawn chess piece that I will be creating, I then asked others to review my designs and tell me which drawing had the best idea. A large majority of the people that reviewed my work suggested that fifth drawing would be the best idea to develop and so I did.
These two designs are what came from the first floating mushroom drawing. I  made two different types of the same enemy and once again asked for feedback on which drawing had the most potential and best ideas. The second drawing favoured therefore I used that idea to create my final design.
